KANSAS MASONIC HOME
The Kansas Masonic Home is a historic campus in Wichita, providing senior living and care since 1896. When it was time to renovate, while keeping the dignity of the original intact, the organization turned to Hutton for a makeover. “The Wichita market was becoming more competitive and we realized we needed to go through a large-scale campus renovation in order to stay competitive,” said Matthew Bogner, CEO of Kansas Masonic Home.

RESPECT FOR ELDERS
The multi-phase project was completed over three years without disrupting service to residents. The renovations included remodeling the home’s towers, the manor and pavilion. A new therapy house with rapid recovery suites was also constructed. "It was a large project, so we needed a partner that we felt we could trust and one we were comfortable with," said Bogner.

HOME, SWEET HOME
In all, Hutton renovated or built 141,143 square feet on the campus. The renovations in residential spaces created a theme of home living, with each unit resembling a style of residential architecture, such as craftsman style, farmhouse and Victorian. "It felt like we were working as a team and everything went very well," said Bogner.

"The process was handled professionally, they were responsive to the concerns we had, and it went very well. I would work with Hutton again."
