Heading up to South Dakota, Ditch Witch UnderCon’s new 10,000 SF dealership finished construction in March. This was Hutton’s third project partnering with Ditch Witch and it was unique in its scope. From coordinating the install of a large crane and other equipment in their service shop, to finishing the project in the middle of a harsh South Dakota Winter, this design-build project was one for the books.
What did our design-build team do with 10,000 SF for this growing heavy equipment seller? A 3,000 SF showroom and office space along with a 7,000 SF service department.

This is the parts and service showroom for Ditch Witch, South Dakota. In this space, the owner is able to service existing clients, impress and educate potential new clients, and even stage equipment for viewing in the open house.
This is the back office parts room. Designed to carry parts of all sizes and needs for clients’ equipment repairs.
Another angle of the back office parts room. Ditch Witch needed storage for all types of parts for the various machinery that comes through the door.
This is the break room for the Ditch Witch team. The desire for this room was to create more of an open group setting that allowed for comradery to continue from the shop floor to the lunch break.
This is the shop floor, equipped with a 3 ton crane to help service the full range of equipment sold by Ditch Witch.

With all the dirt, snow and grease that comes with this line of work, every Ditch Witch facility comes with a full wash bay ready to restore any equipment coming through its doors.
