DETAILS
Hutton partnered with BHS Construction and BBN Architects to deliver the first on-campus activity center in the college’s 90-year history.
DID YOU KNOW?
Dating back to 1947, the college rented city facilities for student life activities and events.
INTEGRITY WAS ESSENTIAL
The 16,750 square-foot building includes a gymnasium with acoustical wood paneling, offices, concessions, and a weight room. The project was successfully completed on time and under budget. “We got a great product that’s serving the college well,” said Kevin Ingram, president of the college.

A GREAT PARTNERSHIP
Hutton and BHS Construction, a Manhattan-based firm, had been looking to team up on a project and this job proved to be the perfect opportunity. “If you didn’t look at the logo on their jacket or shirt, you would have never known they weren’t a team on this together,” said Ingram. “It was a fantastic thing.”

STAYING ACTIVE
“I wanted to be involved with a company of integrity that I knew was going to give the best product possible at the end of the day,” said Ingram. “There was never an issue.”
