MAIZE SCHOOL DISTRICT

With bond dollars in hand, the Maize School District was ready to remodel, build and improve schools in the district. So they did their homework. The answer was Hutton, based on their years of experience in school construction. “They’ve done so much of it that they could anticipate things that we didn’t even think of,” said Chad Higgins, superintendent at Maize Schools.

NO POINTS FOR LATE WORK

Higgins said Hutton worked ahead to make sure projects were turned in on time and always communicated their progress. “They are responsive, they are intuitive, they anticipate because of their experience, not just with construction, but with the unique challenges that come with construction around students, school years and classrooms.”

EXTRA CREDIT

Hutton was close to the project, and the people, from the beginning. “They’ve been just like one of our staff,” said Higgins. “Just on call, all the time, always reaching out to ask questions. So responsive. They are not afraid to tell us what they think, and certainly willing to take responsibility for any issues that come up. They are ingrained, part of our school district.”
