A QUICK STUDY
Hutton Design+Build hit the ground running on its very first project for the district, completing an intense remodel of a 70,000 SF school in 78 days over the summer break. It was completed and open in time for the school bell in August. “I said 78 days and you better have a big basement if you’re not done, because I don’t have a place for 850 students," said William Hammond, retired executive director of business and operations at USD 443. “That was the challenge, and that was the project. It got done, on time and under budget.”
