OPTI-LIFE
Looking for a builder to deliver on a unique vision for a fitness and wellness center, Opti-Life turned to Hutton. “We definitely wanted a general contractor who had been there and done that on projects of this size and magnitude,” said Tien Huynh, an Opti-Life partner. “That was a big part of it for us — trust.”

This full-service health and fitness center was designed by Alloy Architecture and built by Hutton with mental, physical and holistic wellness in mind.
DID YOU KNOW?
Kansas’ first Himalayan salt saunas were installed in the building, each with a one-inch thick wall of salt blocks.

INSPIRATION
Hutton built a 32,000-square-foot space that more than serves the purpose — it inspires. “Our equipment managers have been all over the world, and when they come in here and tell us we have one of the best fitness centers they’ve ever seen, it validates what we were striving for,” said Huynh.

“Their values go beyond the profit and loss statement.”

VALUES
Huynh said Hutton took ownership of the project and showed a pride that is not common in the industry. Doing the right thing even if it wasn’t best for the construction company’s bottom line. It showed in the work. “Their values go beyond the profit and loss statement,” said Huynh. “They know they are in it for the long term.”
