Founded in 1893, Capitol Federal has an extensive history of serving the financial needs of people throughout Kansas. Building on that history, the bank called on Hutton Design+Build to help bring its services to Maize, KS. with the construction of its ninth Wichita-area branch.

After assisting the bank with ongoing maintenance services over the past several years, Hutton Design+Build partnered with WDM Architecture to build a new branch in northwest Wichita.

At the ribbon cutting ceremony, the bank presented a check to Maize Education Foundation for $20,000 to help with financial literacy curriculum.
COMMUNITY BANKING
It’s a good feeling to help replace a once-empty corner lot with commerce for the community. The new Capitol Federal KenMar branch is a full-featured bank with a drive-up teller and ATM. Designed and built by Hutton Design+Build during the height of the pandemic, this project was still completed on time and under budget.
BUILT ON A RELATIONSHIP
Hutton Facility Services has completed on-call maintenance work within all of Capitol Federal’s existing bank branches since 2012. So, when they needed the new 4,300 SF building, they called on Hutton Design+Build.
