Dating back to 1955, Ark Valley Credit Union (AVCU) has offered a broad range of financial services for residents in South Central Kansas. Their partnership with Hutton Design+Build resulted in a new location in Winfield, KS.

In just under a year, Hutton Design+Build designed and built a 2,300 SF credit union with a drive-through canopy and teller stations.
DID YOU KNOW?
The original concept for the project was to remodel an existing vehicle service shop. The large window facing the street pays homage to the previous building’s large garage doors.
ALIGNING VALUES
As the project began, it became evident that AVCU’s values of “helping you, your friends and co-workers get the most for your dollar,” were well in line with those held by Hutton Design+Build. “We formed a fantastic relationship with the Hutton team,” said CEO Kim Anneler. “The open communication and response time were really unbelievable.”
STREAMLINED PROCESS
The AVCU team had to continue to operate their bank branches every day. They didn’t have time to manage an architecture and construction project. Hutton Design+Build was the single point of contact to ensure a seamless project delivery. “Having design and build all in one package worked best for our team,” said Anneler. “Hutton’s diverse and expert team helped deliver a unique and distinctive building to stand out in the community.”
